I was given a copy of this book to read and for a review. This is a honest opinion of this book.
The storyline was fantastic, sweet, suspenseful and lovable. It flowes at a good pace and Ms. Hardin is great making the suspense run thru out the story while adding the investigation as part to make everything interesting. I did need a box of Kleenex because I hate to admit it but I did cry as I read certain parts. The book allow you to feel Hope's emotional strain and I hope you are like me as I love being able to connect with Hope
emotions. I love the fact that the characters were so captivating and that the book left a warm feeling in my heart.
The story begin with Hope she was out control and preparing for what she didn't know but she had to do it. Her actions are those of a desperate woman and we learn why she is so desperate to accomplish what she did as the story continue. Brennan joins her to help out but by this time you are so involved with their story. You won't stop reading until the end. I really liked Hope she's driven to save Michelle because she's positive that it's the right thing to do. She tries to be tough but with Brennan to help she was grateful. I don't want to tell you the entire storyline but this is a Fantastic story if you love falling in love.
This is the third Rawley family story I have read and it's one I will read again. I highly Recommend reading this series.

This book is just amazing. It started out with such suspense and you get hooked within the first half hour. I couldn't put it down. Hope is such a sweet loving person and the character development for Brennan is great. He becomes his own man and we all learn to fall in love with him as Hope did all over again. Their shared loved for Michelle is breath taking. The way the love was portrayed and how languidly but swiftly the plot actually moved was what I love most about this book. It didn't seem too rushed and the ending makes my heart melt. I'm happy the author made the ending a tad more realistic. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to read a story about love, family and kindness for the world. I love that faith is intertwined subtly in the book as well. Five stars!
Enjoyed reading this emotional read filled with a little action and suspense. Hope is on the run with a baby that's not hers. Brennan and Hope have been friends for years and have disappointed Hope numerical times. He decides to help her and along the way falls in love and discovers his past and future. Recommended read.

This was a wonderful sweet story. Hope is on the run with a baby and an old flame ends up joining forces with her. This is a well-paced book that will keep you reading until the very last chapter and rooting for Hope. Hope shows so much courage to help keep her friends baby away from the baby's grandfather. All that Hope goes through during this adventure is amazing!! The characters are fully developed, through flashbacks throughout the book, which kept me reading in order to find out Hope or Brennan's motivations for their actions.
Hope helps counsel drug addicts, prostitutes, and anyone else that needs help. When her friend goes to jail for manslaughter, she asks Hope to keep her baby safe. She doesn’t want her parents to have her so Hope kidnaps and fakes her and the baby’s death and goes on the run. Brennan has been friends with Hope for years, at one time best friends but he let his wild ways destroy that friendship. When he finds out she’s alive and running, he goes after her. He catches up with her and they go to a place that was left to him by his mother. There he finds family he never knew about and love that he never thought he wanted.
Excellent story. First time reading this author and I really enjoyed it. There was suspense, romance, and friends to lovers. It will keep you on the edge of your seat and give you a little laugh too.
Hope has always been in love with Brennan but he couldn't be with one woman, he was always partying, drinking and sleeping around, after some heated words she made him leave and never return. Years later Hope is on the run for kidnapping her friends baby girl to keep her away from her perverted grandfather. Brennan was at a story with his girlfriend when he sees Hope first time in years, his heart or gut told him Hope needs him and he will leave the exgrilfriend, after a few minutes to decide to drop the woman, behind and find ways to help Hope out. What Brennan never would have thought is that Hope will be the answer to a lot of his questions without a word spoken.
Don't pass this book up! It's just full of warm and wonderful chapters. I loved every word! Hope committed a crime. Kidnapping is a felony. But Hope did it to save baby Michelle from the clutches of her pedophile grandfather. Mark helps her get away, but Brennan rushes to her and sticks by her side the entire time. There are many changes occurring, and many of them are good. I don't want to give anything away, but I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. Loved it.
This is a story to make you root for the kidnapper. A young female counselor Hope at a woman's shelter has convinced Justine a prostitute to give up the life of drugs and prostitution. Justine delivered her baby and then was sent to prison asking Hope to take care of baby Michelle and to make sure that her own parents not be allowed to have custody of the baby. Justine had been beaten and sexually abused for most of her life by her father, she did not want her father near her baby. Hope finds out that the court system will never give her custody of baby Michelle, even if it is what the child's mother is requesting. So she goes to the grandparents house and takes the baby. Hope is now on the run from law enforcement and an old friend Brennan decides that he really wants to help Hope. Together they travel trying to find a safe place to settle.
